Series High Shear Emulsifier for Reactors

Overview:

The DRHF series high-shear emulsifier for reactors is fixed on top of various containers and can be designed as a closed vacuum type. It works in conjunction with other reactor equipment to achieve automated system production. Through mechanical external forces, it narrows the particle size of liquid-liquid and solid-liquid materials, uniformly dispersing one phase into another or multiple phases, achieving refinement, homogenization, dispersion, and emulsification effects, thereby forming a stable emulsion state. The working head adopts a new bidirectional suction design and is precision-crafted from stainless steel forgings. It offers three installation methods: vertical, offset, and inclined. For pressurized applications, a double mechanical seal with a self-lubricating sealing system is used.

Principle:

The high-precision gap fit between the rotor and stator, combined with the high-speed rotation of the motor, creates a vacuum between them, drawing material from the top and bottom of the rotor and stator. The powerful kinetic energy generates extremely high linear speed in the rotor, subjecting the material to intense impact, crushing, centrifugal extrusion, fluid layer friction, and strong shearing in the gap between the rotor and stator before being ejected. Under the action of multiple directional forces, strong turbulence is generated. With appropriate emulsifiers and mature processes, the material undergoes repeated cycles of depolymerization, dispersion, homogenization, refinement, and shearing over a certain period to produce a stable emulsion.
